Tournament of Dreams

The Maple Lodge Farms Tournament of Dreams is a charity golf tournament that benefits the Sunshine Dreams for Kids, Hospice of Peel, and Cardiac Kids (in support of the Hospital for Sick Children). To date, Maple Lodge Farms has raised more than $1,000,000 for local charities through our events. Our accomplishments continue to grow with the support of the many people who support this event through volunteering, sponsorships and donations. We sincerely appreciate all of their genuine and generous contributions. The funds raised have been used to realize the dreams of hundreds of Sunshine children, provide hospice care to families living with a life-threatening or terminal illness, and provide much needed funds for children suffering from congenital heart defects. We look forward to the continued success of our fundraising efforts in the years to come

Cardiac Kids - In Support of Sick Kids Foundation

Cardiac Kids is a volunteer group founded in 2000, established to raise much-needed funds for children who are suffering from congenital heart disease. In addition, Cardiac Kids provides funding for educational seminars for patients and their families, as well as provided the start up capital for Camp Oki, the first Canadian camp for children with pacemakers. Furthermore, Cardiac Kids is a strong supporter of pediatric cardiology nursing education, with the aim of helping provide the best possible care for children who must undergo cardiac treatment. http://www.cardiackids.ca/

Sunshine Foundation

The Sunshine Foundation was established in 1987 by a London, Ontario police officer as a legacy to his son who passed away of muscular dystrophy. He wanted children like his son to be able to live their Dream. Sunshine is the only Canadian charity making Dreams for Kids with severe disabilities as well as life-threatening illnesses come true. In fact, 80% of Sunshine kids are challenged by a severe physical disability. http://www.sunshine.ca

Heart House Hospice

Heart House Hospice's staff and volunteers are relentless in their dedication to provide support and comfort to clients dealing with a terminal-illness. Working day in and day out the Heart House staff and volunteers provide 52 weeks of emotional, spiritual and practical physical companionship. They attend to the client's non-medical and respite needs during their end-of-life experience, and the needs of their loved ones during bereavement. http://www.hearthousehospice.com
