Cornmeal & Sesame Crusted Wings
These delicious wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Pair with a spicy dip for a little extra heat!
24 Fresh From The Farm Split Chicken Wings
1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
1 tablespoon paprika
3/4 teaspoon each ground cumin and dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon each sugar, salt, black pepper, onion powder and garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine wing pieces and yogurt; mix until coated.
Step 2: In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
Step 3: Dip wing pieces one at a time into cornmeal mixture, turning to coat.
Step 4: Arrange in single layer on parchment lined baking sheet.
Step 5: Bake at 425 °F (220 °C) for 30 to 35 minutes, turning once, until lightly browned and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
