Ingredients

  • 2 slices Natural from The Farm Oven Roast Cooked Turkey Breast Deli
  • 2 slices Maple Lodge Farms Original Chicken Bacon Style, cooked
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Dijon mustard
  • 2 slices whole wheat Texas toast, toasted
  • 2 thick slices tomato
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) shredded romaine lettuce

Directions

1Spread mayonnaise and mustard over 1 slice of bread. Top with tomato slices, turkey slices, chicken strips and shredded lettuce.

2Cap with remaining bread. Cut in half.

To make sure your chicken is cooked through, look for an internal temperature reading of 82° C for a whole chicken and 74° C for ground poultry, chicken pieces & cuts.

– Use your favourite bread to make this sandwich: rustic Italian, whole grain, brioche or rye bread all work nicely.
