Panko Roasted Drumsticks
With the unbeatable combination of crunchy panko and delicious parmesan this recipe is sure to become a family favourite!
- 8 Fresh From The Farm Drumsticks, skin removed
- 1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Panko crumbs
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasonings
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
1Pre-heat oven to 400 °F (200 °C).
2In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and garlic.
3In shallow bowl, combine Panko crumbs, grated parmesan cheese, Italian seasonings, ground black pepper and salt; toss with melted butter.
4Brush drumsticks evenly with mayonnaise mixture then dip into crumb mixture, turning to coat well and shaking off any excess.
5Arrange in single layer on parchment lined baking pan, without touching.
6Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, on lower oven rack, until golden brown.
To make sure your chicken is cooked through, look for an internal temperature reading of 82° C for a whole chicken and 74° C for ground poultry, chicken pieces & cuts.
