Piri Piri Grilled Chicken Breasts
This Portuguese dish traditionally uses the searing hot piri-piri pepper. We’ve made it a little less intimidating by switching in some chili flakes. How much spice can you handle?
2 packages Fresh From The Farm Chicken Half Breasts, skin removed
1/2 cup lemon juice
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 teaspoons paprika
4 teaspoons red chili flakes (or to taste)
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon salt
Step 1: Place chicken breasts in re-sealable plastic bag.
Step 2: Combine marinade ingredients and add half to chicken, tossing well to coat.
Step 3: Marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
Step 4: Grill over medium heat for about 30 minutes, turning once and basting with reserved marinade, or until juices run clear.
